Highlands Photo Walk/Workshop Renowned photographer and New Jersey Highlands Coalition trustee, Dwight Hiscano will take you, and four of your friends, to a location of your choice in Northern NJ for a small group “Photo Walk.” Beginning with a brief discussion about successful, and not so successful photographs, and ending with a walk through a park or preserve of your choice, we’ll cover equipment, light, composition and subject matter while exploring the differences between boring snapshots and artful photography. We’ll discuss how to find and approach a subject and, using light and composition, how to make that subject shine. Participants will hone their skills and be more sensitive to the potential of any landscape, even the seemingly mundane. All levels welcome. Bring a camera, phone or point and shoot (don’t forget batteries and card!). Dress appropriately for the weather and bring water, hat, sunblock, insect repellent and sunscreen if necessary.
